HOOD BRA INSTALLATION
INSTRUCTIONS |
- MAKE SURE YOU COMPLETE THE FOLLOWING WORK IN ROOM TEMPERATURE.
- Place the hood bra on a table with the Velcro side up.
- With scissors, begin to cut the lengths needed from the roll of Velcro provided, do not remove the adhesive backing yet. Make sure you are trimming the edges of the Velcro to precisely match the hood bra itself to ensure a clean look when applied to your snowmobile hood.
- Once you have trimmed your Velcro strips and they are affixed to the hood bra, turn your hood bra over and lay it onto your snowmobile hood, take a moment to view how the hood bra will be applied to your type of hood. You may also use some masking tape to make reference marks for easier installation when you are ready to apply the adhesive Velcro to your hood.
- Starting at a reference point or corner of your hood bra, one strip at a time, begin to remove the adhesive back from the Velcro, making sure you are place the Velcro in the correct position, DO NOT PUT PRESSURE ON THE VELCRO, you will be able to lift and replace the Velcro if necessary.
- After you have placed the hood bra on your snowmobile hood, removed the adhesive backing from all of your strips, and your hood bra is in its final position, apply pressure to the hood bra by using your hand to ensure the adhesive backing has sufficient pressure.
